Building Talent and Legacy in Australian Football
At Parramatta FC we are devoted to developing talented football players participating in Football NSW League Mens, Football NSW Youth NPL 2 and the Junior Development League also referred to as JDL.
We pride ourselves with our proven youth development programs for young elite players and to create talented footballers and great people both on and off the field by providing world class facilities and the best coaches.
Parramatta Fc have a long and successful history in Australian Football, and have provided Australian football with some of the country’s best and most talented players.


1956
Melita Eagles was formed by Maltese migrants in 1956 after the amalgamation of 2 Maltese clubs the Malta Eagles (est 1952) and the Melita Soccer Club.(est 1955).
1957
Melita Eagles became a member of the NSW Soccer Federation, joining prestigious clubs like Hakoah, APIA Leichhardt, and St George, who were among the initial group to break away from the old NSW Soccer Football Association in January 1957. Throughout their participation in the NSL.
1993
Parramatta Eagles was the first Australian club ever to be included (twice) in The World’s Top 100 Clubs, placing 98th and 91st.


2000
A 5-year partnership was started with the Manchester United Football Club to run an Academy from Melita Stadium.
2006
The Police & Citizen Youth Clubs (PCYC) purchased football operations and PCYC Parramatta Eagles evolved, competing in the New South Wales Super League & Super Youth League for the 2007 season.
2011
A new partnership was formed between (PMESC) Melita Eagles Sports Club & (GDSFA) Granville & Districts Soccer Football Association.
TODAY
Parramatta FC continues to compete in the FNSW NPL competitions for men and youth and a full JDL program.
A Legacy of Community and Football Excellence
Parramatta FC is the representative arm of Granville & Districts Soccer Football Association who is the longest standing Football association in NSW catering not only for Parramatta FC but also for 22 autonomous clubs. This includes over 8,000 players with over 1,000 coaches and officials and a parents base of over 16,000 people.
Over 65 years of operation, the club has evolved, and will continue to work on creating positive change through football in our community. We are creating a legacy!
